Graduation caricature - Nursing student

I previously explained the Venetian tradition of irreverent graduation posters in this post. I have been recently commissioned another one, this time I was asked to draw a nursing student whose passions are vodka, cooking, model-making, € 500 notes, couches and tits... this is the result:

Fumetti disegnati male - 2013 calendar

A couple of months ago I gave a contribution to the Italian comic webzine Fumetti disegnati male (Badly drawn comics); they also do a calendar for the new year and the assigned theme for 2013 was "the flavors of Molise", so this is the drawing I did for the occasion:

But don't miss the other months and all the other pages of the calendar, with fantastically wacky badly drawn comics from Emiliano "Mattioli2" Mattioli, Francesco Orto, Davide "Lario3" La Rosa, Charlie Brown and Luca "Spyro" Speroni. You can download it from this link.

America's got judgement

You all know how much I like Judge Dredd, so I did - without a particular reason, just to keep the pen moving on the paper - this drawing last week at the Pints and pencils. Enjoy.

Pints and pencils - December 2012

I went again to Pints and pencils, a local event I was talking about in this post. This time my assignment was "Madonna - massaging - Spider-man - in the Millennium Falcon cockpit", and again I did my best to figure out how to develop a 4-panel story based on this:

Actually I am not completely satisfied with this drawing - before that I went to my fist boxercise class and my hand was a little shaky XD But I won a prize also this time (three collections of fantasy, vampire and vintage comics postcards) so I'm definitely happy anyway :)

Article about Dredd 3D

This post is not about something I've drawn, but something I've written: a 4 pages article, in Italian, about the movie Dredd 3D (but with a wide overview on Judge Dredd in general) for the 6th issue of Italian webzine Sbam! Comics.
So it may be of interest only to my Italian readers, however that is an occasion for them to better know this great comic character which is (unfortunately) not very well known in Italy.

You can download it from here (or here, if the previos link doesn't work) and my article is at pages 142-145.
