I thought it was too bad to have stall last weekend at the Leeds Cross-Cultural Book Fair 2013 and nothing really new to sell; so two nights before that I came up (quite in a rush) with this artwork: basically Steampunk Me vs. Dieselpunk Me, in the style of an old Spider-man clone saga cover.

S it was a nice weekend, also including a quick visit today at the The (secretly steampunk) Victorian Summer Fair.
My mind got quite stimulated and probably it's time to restart drawing regularly and produce a new zine. So far inspiration came in the form of a random, meaningless monster wearing my steampunk outfit

and this weapon-enhanced airship

I take it as a good (re)beginning.

Leeds Cross-Cultural Book Fair 2013

Almost two months without posting! So many things I would like to draw, so little time to do it... anyway, Friday 26th and Saturday 27th July (this weekend) I will have a stall at the first edition of the Leeds Cross-Cultural Book Fair 2013, which I helped a bit co-organising with zine exhibition (I also wrote a little introduction on self-publishing, readable here and here).

The event is going to take place in the St. Johns Centre and the Arch Cafe (which is just next to the St. Johns Centre) in Leeds city centre. This is going to be an interesting indie book fair, with many exhibitors, workshops and other activities on a large range of topics, so come along and have a look (especially because it is completely free).
